Abstract
As Guest Editor, for this Special Edition of the International Journal of Education Policies it has been a pleasure to share the work of this group of scholars whose contributions demonstrate deep social, critical engagement. Each piece here carries with it the critical element of scholarly citizenship which is at the heart of democracy through education.Thank you to everyone who worked to share these papers.
